Chants de gorge Inuit - Inuit Throat Singing. Québec
Les jeux vocaux des chanteurs de gorges de l'Arctique canadien sont majoritairement interprétés par des femmes. Ces chants sont produits par deux notes de fréquences différentes émises à partir de l'air des poumons passant sur les cordes vocales. La vibration fait des "chants de gorges" dont les inuits ont une grande pratique qui s'expriment traditionnellement, en duo, sous forme de rixe dans laquelle chacune des voix se doit de relancer l'autre jusqu'à une joyeuse et commune disparition.
Le "Katajjaq" est une forme de chant sacrée traditionnel chez les Inuit
