Jason Irla est un artiste multimédia. Ses travaux questionnent le temps, la perception la mémoire, interrogent les pratiques de l'enregistrement du numérique dont le processus reste lisible dans les réalisations qu'il produit. voir video Vimeo
Né en 1975 à Détroit dans le Michigan, il a reçu son BA du Bennington Collège en 2008 et une maîtrise "art de studio multimédia" de l'Institut Collège of Art Maryland, le M.I.C.A. en 2010.
Jason expose régulièrement aux États-Unis, artiste en résidence au projet Wassaic en 2012. Il vit dans le Maine, US, à Farmington, où il enseigne à l'Université, comme maître assistant section art.

Jason Irla is an interdisciplinary artist whose work exploring issues of time, perception and memory. Born in 1975 in Detroit, Michigan, he received his BA from Bennington College in 2008 and his MFA in interdisciplinary studio art from the Mount Royal School of Art at the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2010. Jason has exhibited throughout the United States and was an artist-in-residence at The Wassaic Project in 2012. He currently lives in Farmington, Maine with his wife and fellow artist Chloe Watson, and is an Assistant Professor of Art at the University of Maine at Farmington.
