Merce Cunningham solo dance on Nam June Paik's TV program called "Good Morning Mr. Orwell" from 1984. John Cage's music (and other sounds) are heard in the background.

"Good Morning, Mr. Orwell" est une "installation" de Nam Juin Paik, au premier jour du Nouvel An, 1984.

L'événement, qui Paik voyait comme une réfutation de la vision dystopique de George Orwell de 1984, est liée WNET TV à New York et au Centre Pompidou à Paris en directement relié par satellite en Allemagne et en Corée du Sud.

Ainsi cette événement diffusé à l'échelle mondiale sur les télévisions publiques à atteint une audience de plus de 25 millions de téléspectateurs.
